They're known for chavindecas (their namesake), which we enjoyed, but we also loved the volcanes. Remember to also get their horchata, among the best I've ever had.

THE BEST! My Colombian husband said this was "Esquisitamente delicioso" think a handmade tortilla filled with lots of cheese, asada, and another handmade tortilla on top. And NO ITS NOT A QUESADILLA it's a chanvindeca lol Get yourself a chavindeca and a volcán de asada with a side of grilled onions. That volcán is something else!!! A crispy tortilla with asada cheese and a fried cheese layer on top Ahmazingggg! AUTHENTIC food straight from Apatzingan, Michoacan. Arriba Michoacan mi gente!

I can't believe this business is not yet on Yelp! They have been around and at the same spot since forever. I've been lagging to add them on here as well, as I ate here almost 2 years ago! They have lot of reviews on Google and come to the same location daily! You cannot miss the pink truck. They sell Michoacán style food here. This was the first place I ever tried a vampira. The quesadillas here are sooooo big. Like other google reviews, the only downfall at this place is the wait. Pre covid it was cool waiting around, but now, there's a bunch of people waiting around. The salsas here come in ziplock which is also different from other places. The food here is good and decently priced for the area.

I recommend the $4 volcanes. Crunchy on the bottom, steak in the middle and with cooked cheese on top. Delicious. The chavindecas looks and tastes similar to a quesadilla. Tasty and well made. I bought a size Chica for an individual, and it came with 8 slices, so it's quite a lot.
